Abstract:
The sediment dataset of terraces in Wudang Basin, Central Guizhou of China was developed based on in situ surveys on terraces in Wudang basin in May 2018 and September 2019. The dataset includes: (1) geo-location data of the surveys; (2) photos taken in the field survey; (3) Sediment data of Terraces, they are ① Profile characteristics of the terraces; ② gravel orientation of terrace gravel layers; ③ gravel shape and lithology of terrace gravel layers; ④ gravel diameter of terrace gravel layers; ⑤ grain size of the terraces sand layers; ⑥ OSL dating data of terrace sediments. The dataset is archived in .kmz, .shp, .xlsx, .jpg and .doc data formats, and consists of 16 data files with data size of 34.6 MB (compressed into one single file with 34.5 MB). The analysis paper based on this dataset has been published at Geographical Research, Vol. 39, No. 6, 2020.
