Abstract:

Isla Isabela, also called Albemarle Island, is located at 1099 km to the mainland of the South America in its east, and in the eastern of the Pacific Ocean. It is the largest island in the Galapagos Islands (Archipielago de Colon) of Ecuador. It is separated 16.5 km from Santiago Island in the east, 4.5 km from Fernandina Island in the west. The geolocation of the Isla Isabela is between 1°3'12"S and 0°10'4"N, 90°46'50"W and 91°35'39"W. It has an area of 4712.94 km² and coastline of 719.19 km long. The Isla Isabela is in Galapagos, Ecuador. There are many volcanoes. Puerto Villamil, located on the southern coast of the island, is the main port. The dataset was developed based on Google Earth and related maps and references in Ecuador. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 24 data files with data size of 4.58 MB (compressed to 3.26 MB in three files).
