Abstract:

Lanjia Village is located in black land zone in the transition area from Changbai Mountains to Songhuajing-Nenjiang Plain in Niuxin Town, Panshi City, Jilin Province of China. Benefited by the natural collection of clean water including natural precipitation and snow melt water and free of heavy metal pollution, the water quality of the paddy field is better than the standard of city supply water. The Panshi Rice Lanjia Village case dataset on permanent basic farmland protection and sustainable development is a joint effort product by contributors from university, company, government, research institutes and local stakeholder. There is a series of products from the case, including dataset, articles, education base, germplasm resources etc. The dataset is consisted of the following data: (1) GIS boundary data of the case area; (2) physical geographical and ecological conditions data, including meteorology, elevation classification, water quality, land use/land cover, soil composition, etc.; (3) characteristics data of rice product; (4) the management data and (5) photos of the ecosystem monitoring station and equipment. The dataset is archived in .shp、.tif、.xlsx and .jpg data formats, and consists of 79 data files with data size of 293 MB (compressed to one single file with 85.3 MB).Browse
