Abstract:
Based on the State Council Plan of City Clusters in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River in 2015, the scope of the cluster is defined as 1 city in sub provincial level, 27 cities in prefecture level and 3 in county-level in Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces, with a total of 178 counties. On the basis of more than 10 thousands national enterprise credit information system, we obtained the data of headquarters and branches of producer service enterprises and then constructed spatial correlation network of city clusters in middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Using community detection algorithm including Module degree, PageRank value and alluvial diagram, we analyzed the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of community structure of city clusters in middle reaches of the Yangtze River from 2000 to 2014. The dataset consists of the following data: 1) matrix data of spatial correlation network; 2) PageRank value data; 3) Module degree data; 4) city community division data; 5) inter-city community’s connectivity data. The dataset is archived in .xlsx format with data size of 311 KB. The analysis paper related to the dataset was published in Scientia Geographica Sinica, Vol. 39, No.4, 2019.Browse
