Abstract:

Jingchuan Basin is the catchment area of Jing River, the largest tributary of the Wei River. The land use/cover classification in the Jingchuan Basin includes that of six first-class types and fourteen second-class types. The first-class types include woodland, grassland, wetland, cultivated land, artificial surface and others. The Time Series Land Use/Cover Change Dataset in Jingchuan Basin (1976-2015) was developed based on Landsat MSS/TM/OLI images during 1976-2015, integrated with the models of Decision Tree Classification and Object-oriented Information Extraction based on knowledge rule. The dataset includes: (1) boundary of the JingchuanBasin; (2) land use/cover classification data of ten periods from 1976 to 2015; they are 1976, 1991, 1995, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2015. Among which, the resolution is 60 m in 1976; 15 m in 2013 and 2015; 30 m in others. (3) land use/cover change data during 1976-1991, 1991-2000 and 2000-2015. The resolution is 15 m in 2000-2015, and 30 m in the others. The dataset is archived in .shp and .tif formats, and consists of 73 data files with data size of 252 MB (Compressed to 2 files with 6.83 MB).Browse
