Abstract:
The Qinghai Lake Basinis an important natural geographical region in the northeastern of Qinghai-Tibet plateau. The Waterfowl Habitat and Migration Dataset Collecting from 30 Sample Sites in Qinghai Lake Basin (2018) was developed based on in situ survey on the waterfowl. The dataset includes: (1) time and frequency of the records monitoring waterfowls; (2) geo-location data of the 30 sample sites; (3) species composition of waterfowls; (4) new waterfowls observations in 2018; (5) distribution of waterfowls in different periods and throughout the year; (6) percentage of the waterfowls population in the 1% of the world population; (7) the waterfowls population during 2014-2018; (8) annual waterfowl during 2014-2018; (9) distribution of waterfowls in the spring migration period, summer breeding period, autumn migration period and overwintering period of 2018; (10) individual numbers of waterfowls in the spring migration period, summer breeding period, autumn migration period and overwintering period of 2018 have reached 1,000-scale; and (11) number of breeding waterfowls in four major colonies during 2014-2018. The dataset is archived in .shp and.xlsx data formats, and consists of 8 data files with data size of 71 KB (Compressed to 2 files with 55.7 KB).Browse
