Abstract:
Lanjia Reservoir is one of the winter fish-catching places in Panshi, Jilin province of China. It is located at the western slope of Changbai Mountain and adjacent to the Huifa River, a tributary of the Songhua River. It is administrated by the Lanjia Village, Niuxin Town, Panshi City, Jilin Province. The geo-location of the reservoir is between 42°47′20″N and 42°47′34″N, 126°12′51″E and 126°13′5″E. In summer of 2020, the area of the reservoir is 85,317 m² and its perimeter is 1301 m. The type of reservoir is a pond, and the water is mainly from precipitation, seasonal snow melt water and Huifa River. The annual precipitation in the region is about 740 mm, and the annual average temperature is 5.3 ℃. The lowest temperature is in January, with an average of -18.4 ℃. The dam of the reservoir was built in 1957, and the reservoir has a capacity of 9x104 m3. The average water depth in the reservior is 1 meter, and the deepest is 2.2 m. The bottom of the reservoir is silt with a thickness of 60 m. The main function of the reservoir is to irrigate and nourish the downstream rice fields and the second is to breed the fish. The main fish species supported in the reservoir are Aristichthys nobilis, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Cyprinus carpio, and Ctenopharyngodon idellus. The benthic organisms are mainly mussels and snails.
The indicators of water quality monitoring in the Lanjia Reservoir in 2021 are better than the national fish breeding water standard, and also better than the national urban water standard. Among them, the content of arsenic, chromium, nickel, lead, zinc, mercury and other elements are all zero, Cadmium is 0.0001%, Copper is 0.0009%, and the pH value is 7.6. The suitable period for Winter Fish-catching is from January 1st to January 20th. The dataset is developed based on Google Earth image. It is archived in .shp and .kmz data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 23.8 KB (Compressed into two files with 11.6 KB).
