Abstract:

The Dataset of Surface Climate Normals from 219 Chinese International Exchange Stations (1991-2020) recorded 8 climate elements, including temperature, precipitation, air pressure, wind direction and speed, water vapor pressure, snow, sunshine, and hail occurrence days. The dataset was developed based on surface observation data archived by the National Meteorological Information Centre. During the development of the dataset, the metadata of the observation data since 1991 was systematically checked, verified, and revised. All elements were segmented by using the station location migration information, and the segmented processing of the temperature series was completed based on the heterogeneity test results. The dataset was developed based on CMA Meteorological Big Data Cloud Platform. The dataset was archived in .csv, .doc and .xlsx data formats, it consists of 222 data files with data size of 3.36 MB (Compressed into one file with 566 KB).
