Abstract:
There are 350 million undernourished people in the Asian-Pacific Region, accounting for 51 percent of the global total. The lack of diversity of products, coupled with the impact of climate change, limits the diversity of local residents' diets, resulting in insufficient nutrition. If we want to raise an estimated 9.7 billion people in the world by 2050 and provide good nutrition, agricultural transformation is imperative. To this end, FAO launched "One Country One Priority Product" (OCOP), which has launched in Asia-Pacific in 2022 to propose innovative solutions. This video is the author's report at the 2022 Green Development International Conference on Science and Technology Innovation. In the report, the author systematically explains the implementation plan of "One Country One Priority Product" in the Asian-Pacific Region, and proposes a series of implementation measures, including science and technology, agriculture, commerce, environment, strategy, socio-economic, policy and law. The video is archived in .mp4 format, consists of one file with data size of 180 MB. It takes 22:27 minutes.
