Abstract:
The authors investigated biomass production and chemical properties (i.e., carbon, N, phosphate, lignin and cellulose) among the four N addition levels (N0: control; N20: 20 kg hm-2a-1; N50: 50 kg hm-2a-1; N100: 100 kg hm-2a-1) during 2012-2015 at the Alpine Shrubland Ecosystem Research Station in Songpan Country, Sichuan Province of China. The dataset includes: (1) geo-location of sample site; (2) variations in chemical properties of litter branches among the four N addition treatments; (3) variation in stoichiometric characteristics of litter branches among the four N addition treatments;(4) variation in annual return of biomass production, and carbon, N, phosphorus, lignin and cellulose among the four N addition treatments. The dataset is archived in .shp and .xlsx formats, and consists of 10 data files with data size of 33 KB (compressed into one file with 26.3 KB). The analysis paper based on this dataset was published in Acta Ecologica Sinica, Vol. 43, No. 7, 2023.
