Abstract:

The in situ data were collected at the Mount Wuyi National Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province. Five altitude gradients (including 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000 m) have been set in Pinus taiwanensis forest. The soil surface (0-10 cm) samples were collected in July 2019, and the in situ dataset on soil organic nitrogen depolymerase activities of Pinus taiwanensis at different altitude gradients of Wuyi Mountain was obtained through experimental measurement. This dataset includes: (1) geo-location of sampling sites and contour lines; (2) soil physicochemical properties and microbial biomass at different altitude gradients; (3) soil mineral nitrogen content at different altitude gradients; (4) eight types of soil organic nitrogen depolymerizing enzyme activities under different altitude gradients. The dataset is archived in .shp and .xlsx formats, and consists of 16 data files with data size of 2.04 MB (compressed into one file with 817 KB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published in Acta Ecologica Sinica, Vol. 42, No. 4, 2022.
