Abstract:

Xiong 'er Mountain is one of the larger scale tributaries on the eastern section of the Qinling Mountains, located at the junction of warm temperate zone and northern subtropical zone in China. There is a wide variety of flora and fauna and a favorable ecological environment. The main peak, Quanbao Mountain, is in Luoning, Henan. Xionger natural mineral water is rich in a variety of appropriate mineral components and trace elements that are beneficial to human health, and is a precious and scarce mineral resource. The GIES case dataset on Luoning Xiong’er mineral water from high strontium area in Qinling Mountains was obtained based on in situ survey. The dataset includes: (1) geolocation of the case area and the boundary data; (2) physical geography data (including meteorology, topography, river and soil); (3) quality data of Xiong 'er mineral water; (4) management data of Xiong 'er Mineral Water. The dataset is archived in .shp, .xlsx, .tif and .docx formats, and consists of 94 data files with data size of 3.97 MB (Compressed into one file with 2.49 MB).
