Abstract:
From July 21 to August 26, 2022, the authors conducted an experiment in the Crested Ibis National Nature Reserve in Yang County, Shaanxi Province. Using transect and typical sampling methods, three wetland sites were selected, they are Chitanggou (CTG), Anfeng (AF) and Panjiawan (PJW). The number of sample plots was 55, 70, and 55, respectively, with a total of 180 plots. Each plot was 1 m x 1 m in size, and the distance between plots was more than 10 meters. The authors used UAV hyperspectral imagery to establish inversion models through three methods: Random Forest (RF), Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN), and Partial Least Squares (PLS). These models were applied to estimate species diversity in three sample sites. The dataset includes the following data: (1) geo-location data of sample plots; (2) field survey data on species; (3) species diversity index at sample plots; (4) spatial species diversity index. The dataset is archived in .tif, .xlsx, and .shp formats, and consists of 71 data files with data size of 6.09 GB (Compressed into two data files with data size of 995 MB). The article based on the dataset was published in the Journal of Geo-Information Science, Vol. 26, No. 8, 2024.
