Abstract:

Trinity Islands belong to the Fox Islands of Aleutian Islands. Trinity Islands is the most east islands for Fox Islands, meanwhile it is the most east islands for Aleutian Islands. Trinity Islands locates 162°21′9.58″W-162°56′9.68″W and 54°17′45.11″N-54°29′52.1″N. There are 5 islands with area great than 1km2, which is Sanak Island, Caton Island, Long Island, Elma Island, Clifford Island. The Sanak Island has the largest area 121.84 km2 and the longest coastline 96.81km. The total land area of the Trinity Islands is 157.23km2 and the total coastline is 250.19km. The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The dataset is archived in the .shp and .kmz formats with the compressed data size of 1.0MB.
