Abstract:
Meinicke Islands, a group of small islands in the Arctic Ocean, is located between the Barents Sea and the Greenland Sea; it is part of the Thousand Islands in Norway. Its geolocation is between 77°06′17″N and 77°07′05″N,22°03′07″E and 22°06′10″E. The Meinicke Islands consists of Great Meinicke Island with an area of 0.28km² and Little Meinicke Island with an area of 0.11km². The total area of the Meinicke Islands is 0.38km² the coastline is 4.40km long. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 26.7KB.
