Abstract:
Bimini Islands is located in northern of Atlantic Ocean, the closest part in Bahama Islands to the American continent. Its geolocation is between 25°14′05″N and 25°46′45″N,79°18′51″W and 79°08′56″W. The Bimini Islands is consisted of 38 Islands and cays (the smallest island or cay is 333m²), including North Bimini Island, South Bimini Island, North Cat Cay, South Cat Cay, Gun Cay, Alec Cay, Pigeon Cay. The total area of the Bimini Islands is 21.69km² and the coastline is 118.16km long. The biggest island in the Bimini Islands is North Bimini Island with an area of 10.73km². The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 473KB.
