Abstract:
Iturup Island is the largest one of the Kuril Islands, located between Kunashir Island and Urup Island. It is the northernmost one in the southern Kuril Islands. Geolocation is from 44°25′26″N to 45°33′25″N, 146°51′30″E to 148°53′37″E. The Iturup Island is 199 km long from Northeast to southwest and its area is 3163.76km² with the coastline of 684.10 km. The dataset is developed based on the google earth images and references maps. It is archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with data size of 2.46 MB in 15 data files (compressed to 932 KB in 2 files).
