Abstract：

Dayushu Reservoir is one of the winter fish-catching places in Panshi, Jilin province of China. It is located on the western slope of Changbai Mountain and adjacent to the Huifa River, a tributary of the Songhua River. It is administrated by the Panshi Economic Development Zone, Panshi City, Jilin Province. It lies between 42°57'8"N and 42°57'41"N, 125°59'12"E and 126°0'21"E. In summer of 2020, the area of the reservoir is 438,660 m² and the perimeter is 5695 m. The reservoir is classified to be small 1 in the reservoir classification system. The main water is from precipitation, seasonal snow melt water and the Huifa River. The annual precipitation in the region is about 600 mm, and the annual average temperature is 5.3 ℃. The lowest temperature appears in January, with an average of -18.4 ℃. The reservoir was built in 1956 ,with a storage capacity of 2.16x10⁶ m³. The average water depth is 2 m, and the deepest is 2.6 m. The bottom of the reservoir is silt with a thickness of 80 cm. The main function of the reservoir is to irrigate and nourish the downstream rice fields and the second is to breed the fish. The main fish species supported in the reservoir are Cyprinus carpio, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Hemibarbus maculatus, Carassius auratus, Ctenopharyngodon idellus and other fish. The benthic organisms are mainly mussels and snails. The water quality is better than the Water Quality Standard for Fisheries (GB11607-89), according to the testing data in 2021. The content of Arsenic is 0.0003%, chromium is 0.004%, nickel is 0.05%, lead is 0.01%, zinc is 0.05%, mercury is 0.00004%, cadmium is 0.001%, copper is 0.001%, and the pH value is 7.0. The suitable period for Winter Fish-catching is from 25th in December to 20th in January. The dataset is developed based on Google Earth image. It is archived in .shp, .kmz data formats with data size of 54.19 KB (compressed into 2 files with 19.2 KB).
