Abstract：
Heihe River Oasis is located in Zhangye, Jiuquan and Jiayuguan, Gansu Province, and Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, China. The geo-location of the Heihe River Oasis is between 38°05'01"N and 42°24'59"N, 97°51'43"E and 101°34'00"E. The Heihe River Oasis consists of 132 oases with a total area of 16,147.52 km² (Albers). The largest oasis covers an area of 6,725.33 km². The main rivers that nourish the oases are Heihe River and its tributaries, The main stream length of the Heihe River is 876.32 km. The geo-location of the mountainous part of Heihe River catchment is between 37°43′11″N and 39°39′59″N, 97°20′34″E and 101°12′38″E. Its area is 16,588.16 km². The elevation of the mountainous catchment was divided into 9 types. The dataset is consisted of (1) boundary data of the oasis; (2) river system and lakes; (3) boundary data of the mountainous part of the catchment; (4) elevation classification data of the mountainous part of the catchment. The dataset is archived in .kmz, .shp and .tif data formats, and consists of 64 data files with data size of 169 MB (compressed to 5 files with 46 MB).
