Abstract:

Based on the solar radiation and meteorological observation data from 105 radiation stations of China from 1981 to 2016, the author compared eight models for predicting the parameters of Angstrom-Prescott model (A-P model), evaluated their applicability and performance, and got the optimum model for seven climate zones of China (Zhao, 1995), and thus developed the solar radiation model (Angstrom-Prescott model) parameter calibration and prediction dataset for seven climate zones of China (1981-2016). The dataset includes: (1) Average climate data at 105 solar radiation stations in China during 1981-2016 (Tab.1); (2) Selected Equations for Predicting a and (a b) in the Angstrom-Prescott Model (Tab.2); (3) Statistics of the calibrated Angstrom–Prescott parameters in seven climate zones. (Tab.3); (4) Performances of the calibrated model and 8 predictive models for seven climate zones of China (Tab.4); (5) Values of global performance indicator and ranking of the 8 predicted models for seven climate zones (Tab.5). The dataset is consisted of one data file and archived in .xlxs data format, with the data size of 44.5 KB. The research paper related to the dataset was published at Earth and Space Science, Volume 6, 2019.
