Abstract:

The Dataset of Suitability Evaluation of "Water-Energy-Food" System Pressure and Urban Green Transformation Quality in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Zone (2012-2021) was developed based on the integration of the system pressure index model, TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation method and Tapio decoupling model with the records from the China Statistical Yearbook, China Energy Statistical Yearbook, China Environmental Statistical Yearbook, China Urban Statistical Yearbook, China Rural Statistical Yearbook and the statistical yearbooks and ecological environment statistical bulletin of Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. The dataset includes : (1) the results of the "water-energy-food" system pressure index of the three provinces (Hubei, Hunan, and Jiangxi) in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Zone from 2012 to 2021 ; (2) the original data of the evaluation index system of urban green transformation quality in the three provinces from 2012 to 2021 and the comprehensive index of green transformation quality; (3) the results of the decoupling index of system pressure and green transformation quality in the three provinces from 2013 to 2021. The dataset is archived in.xlsx format, and consists of one file with data size of 39 KB. The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at Journal of Natural Resources, Vol.39, No.9, 2024.
