Abstract：

Lvjin Reservoir is one of the winter fish-catching places in Panshi, Jilin Province of China. It is located on the western slope of Changbai Mountain and adjacent to the Huifa River, a tributary of the Songhua River. It is administrated by Xiangyang Village, Chaoyangshan Town, Panshi City, Jilin Province. It lies between 42°57′49″N and 42°57′55″N, 125°56′24″E and 125°56′33″E. In summer of 2020, the area of the reservoir is 15,484 m² and the perimeter is 754 m. The reservoir is a pond, and the main water is from atmospheric precipitation, seasonal snow melt water and the Huifa River. The annual precipitation in the region is about 708 mm, and the annual average temperature is 5.3 ℃. The lowest temperature appears in January, with an average of -18.4 ℃. The reservoir was built in 2013, with a storage capacity of 8.7x10⁴ m³. The average water depth is 2.5 m, and the maximum depth is 3 m. The bottom of the reservoir is sediment with a thickness of 10 cm. The main function of the reservoir is to irrigate and nourish the downstream rice fields and the second is to breed the fish. The main fish species in the reservoir are Cyprinus carpio, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix and Hemibarbus maculatus. The benthic organisms are mainly mussels and snails. The water quality is better than Water quality standard for fisheries（GB11607-89）, according to the testing data in 2021. The content of Arsenic is 0.0003%, cadmium is 0.001%, chromium is 0.004%, copper is 0.001%, nickel is 0.05%, lead is 0.01%, zinc is 0.05%, mercury is 0.00004%, and the pH value is 7.2. The suitable period for Winter Fish-catching is from 20th in January to 29th in February. The dataset is developed based on Google Earth image.It is archived in .shp, .kmz data formats with data size o43.1 KB (compressed into 2 files with11.2 KB).
