Abstract:

Quality geographical products were incubated by health geographical environment. The Panshi Qiantang (Thousands Reservoirs) Rice Case on Permanent Farmland of Ecosystem Protection and Sustainable Development is consisted of a series of small and low-lying areas downstream of reservoirs and flood dam in Panshi City, Jilin Province of China. There are more than 5333 (hm²). It is located in the hilly mountain area and the transition zone from Changbai Mountain to Songhuajing-Nenjiang Plain. Snow melt water and natural precipitation are sources of the reservoirs and flood dam. The soil in the area is mainly black soil rich in organic matter. The soil quality is even better than the national standard of soil environmental quality risk control standard for soil contamination of agricultural land, and the quality of irrigation water is also better than the national standard of urban drinking water supply. At present, there are mainly six rice varieties suitable for the local climatic conditions of Panshi City. The case could provide a new model for black land protection and sustainable basic farmland ecological environment development, drive local agricultural development, help farmers increase income, improve rural appearance, and promote rural revitalization. The case dataset consists of five folders: case boundary data, natural geographical data, rice variety characteristics data, management data, natural characteristics and historical and cultural traditions. The dataset is archived in .shp, .docx, .jpg, .tif and .xlsx data formats, it consists of 57 data files with data size of 22.4 MB (Compressed into one file with 7.22 MB).Browse
