Abstract:

Siling Co is located in the hinter land of the Tibetan plateau. Over the past 50 years (1972-2020), the surface water of the Siling Co expanded year by year. In 2004, it merged with Yagen Lake to form a single lake, which was bigger than Namco and became the largest lake in Tibet. The Siling Co changes dataset in half a century (1972-2020) was developed based on satellite images including Landsat and GF from 1972 to 2020. The dataset includes the vector boundary and area of Siling Co in 26 periods from 1972, 1976, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000-2020 during the last half a century. The dataset is archived in .shp format, and consists of 182 data files with data size of 2.96 MB (compressed to one single file with 2.03 MB).
