Abstract:
Hahajima archipelago is located in the southern of Chichijima archipelago of Ogasawara Islands. It is governed by the Tokyo administrative jurisdiction (Tokyo Metropolitan Department), Japan. The geolocation of Hahajima archipelago is from 142°7'11"E to 142°14'33"E and latitude from 26°32'23"N to 26°43'2"N. Hahajima archipelago is consisted of Hahajima, Anejima, Imoutojima, Meijima, Mukoujima, Futakojima, Marushima, Hirashima, Katsuotorishima, and a series of small islands. Hahajima is the biggest island in Hahajima archipelago. The area of Hahajima is about 20 sq.km. The highest peak in Hahajima archipelago is Mt. breast which is located in Hahajim. The total area of the islands in the Hahajima archipelago is 25.99 km², and coastline is 129.49 km long. The dataset is developed based on Google Earth imagery integrated with thematic maps. The dataset is archived in both .kmz and .shp formats with compressed data size of 439KB.
