Abstract:
The Upper Min River, which is located in the mountain and ravine region on the east margin of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, is an ecologically fragile area with high-frequency disasters (landslides, debris flows, etc.), in which many minority groups are living. With the data integration among the remote sensing and GIS data, as well as the local field surveying data, the Monitoring and Sensitivity Analysis Dataset of Debris Flow in the Upper Min River (2005-2013) was developed.. This dataset includes: (1) debris flow disaster event data in the Upper Min River in 2013; (2) Land slope classification data; (3) Land use data in 2005, 2009 and 2013 (arable land, forest, grass land, bare land, urban and rural construction land, glaciers and water bodies); (4) sensitivity analysis data of debris flow in the Upper Min River. The dataset is archived in .shp, .grid, and .kmz formats with the compressed data size of 90MB. The analysis paper was published in the Journal of Mountain Research, No. 5, Vol. 33, 2015.
