Abstract:

King Ludwig Islands, a group of small islands in the Arctic Ocean, is located between the Barents Sea and the Greenland Sea; it is part of the Thousand Islands in Norway. Its geolocation is between 77°15′39″N and 77°17′29″N,21°16′17″E and 21°40′57″E. The King Ludwig Islands consists of 23 islands (Area of the smallest one is 4,027m²), including Aekongen Islet and Berentine Island. The total area of the King Ludwig Islands is 2.67km² the coastline is 27.81km long. The biggest island in the King Ludwig Islands is Aekongen Islet with an area of 1.08km². The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 64.8KB.
