Abstract：
In North Tibetan Plateau, the yak dung production and dung combustion for energy purpose in county scale was surveyed. Yak dung samples were collected and the losses of nutrients such as the total and available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium after combustion were calculated. The Yak dung combustion and nutrient loss dataset in Northern Tibetan Plateau is consisted of two groups data files: spatial data files, including the boundary data of the study area and the geolocations of the samples; and the statistics data files, including the content of soil organic matter ,nutrients and net primary production between the treatments of no dung samples and 1kg dung return soil, the yak dung combustion in Nagqu, Bangoin and Nyima counties, the yak dung combustion intensity in Nagqu, Bangoin and Nyima counties and the yak dung production of typical counties in Nagqu, Bangoin and Nyima counties from 1988 to 2010. The dataset is archived in .shp,.kmz and .xlsx data formats with the compressed data size of 128KB. The analysis paper was published in the journal of Resources Science, No.1, Vol. 37, 2015.
