Abstract:

The Nenjiang River ranges from the origin of Songhua River to Sanchahe. The Nenjiang River Basin spans multiple geomorphic units such as the Greater Khingan Range, the Songnen Plain and the Lesser Khingan Range. Based on SRTM DEM 90 m data and the water system data, the author preliminarily determined the boundary of Nenjiang Basin, then revised the boundary data according to Google Earth images. The Nenjiang Basin is located between 119.40︒E and 127.89︒E, 44.02︒N and 51.66︒N, with a basin area of 29.06x10^4 km^2 and a perimeter of 4067.54 km. The basin slope and relief were calculated based on the DEM data, and finally the elevation, slope and relief were classified. The elevation was divided into 5 categories, they are: 1(<200 m), 2(200-500 m), 3(500-700 m), 4(700-1000 m), 5(>1000 m); the slope was divided into 7 categories, they are: 1(0-1°), 2(1-3°), 3(3-7°), 4( 7-15°), 5(15-25°), 6(25-35°), 7(>35°); the relief was divided into 8 categories, they are 1(0-5), 2(5-10), 3(10-20), 4(20-30), 5(30-50), 6(50-80), 7(80-100), 8(>100). This dataset includes: (1) boundary of the Nengjiang Basin; (2) elevation classification data; (3) slope and classification data; (4) relief and classification data. The spatial resolution of the raster data is 90 m. This dataset was archived in .kmz, .shp and GRID formats, and consisted of 77 data files with data size of 436 MB (Compressed into 2 file with 116 MB).
