Abstract:

Oases of China are located in northwestern part of China, between 35°51′55″N and 48°23′18″N,73°58′13″E and 110°12′42″E. The total area of the Oases of China is 275,535.39 km² (Albers). It is composed of 1,398 individual oases, including the Tarim River Oasis, the Oases in the middle section of the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains and Qaidam Basin Catchment Oasis, etc. Among them, the Tarim River Oasis is the largest one with an area of 52,719.28 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 18 data files with data size of 1.90 GB (Compressed into 3 files with 764 MB).
