Abstract:
By integrating vector data of land use of Guangdong Province and data from the Geospatial Data Cloud with the agglomeration model, the dataset of hierarchical scale and spatial structure evolution of rural settlement system in Guangdong Province (1990-2020) was developed. The dataset includes the following data in Guangdong Province: (1) statistics of rural settlements patches size, 1990-2020; (2) rural rank cumulative size coefficients of 111 counties in 1990 and 2020; (3) agglomeration fractal dimensions of 111 counties in 1990 and 2020. The dataset is archived in .xlsx format, and consists of one data file with data size of 22.2 KB. The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at Acta Geographica Sinica, Vol. 79, No. 2, 2024.
