Abstract:
On October 29, 2022, the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Geographical Society jointly hosted the “2022 Science Festival of the Chinese Academy of Sciences” focusing on the Big-Data Facilitate Rural Revitalization. Professor SONG Xianfang, Principle Investigator of the “Panshi Qiantang (Thousands Reservoirs) Rice on Permanent Farmland” project, made a presentation. He indicated that the case was successfully listed in the Innovation China-GIES case clusters. He introduced the background, team members, and dataset, as well as article publications. More informative, the topography, climate, watershed water system, soil characteristics, farmland ecosystem, rice varieties and quality characteristics, habitat monitoring and traceability system, the management of Panshi Qiantang rice, and cultural traditions were all included. The report comprehensively and vividly expounds this case's process, key points, and benefits. The video is archived in .mp4 format, and it takes 12:08 minutes.
