Abstract:

Emin River is an international inland river. It originates from the Komir Mountains of the Talbakhtai Range, flows southwest through Emin County, Tacheng and Yumin of China, and then enters Urzal County in the East Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan, finally into the Lake Ara. The length of the main stream of the Emin River is 335.47 km, and its main tributaries are the Kup River, the Ulsheret River and the Akchok River, their lengths are 184.91 km, 117.69 km and 102.35 km, respectively. The geo-location of Emin River Basin is between 45°32′1″N and 47°14′2″N, 81°55′47″E and 84°47′21″E. The basin covers an area of 21,765.43 km² (Albers) and the length of the basin boundary is 928.36 km. The dataset is consisted of (1) boundary data of the basin; (2) river system of the basin. The dataset is archived in .kmz, .shp and .tif data formats, and consists of 26 data files with data size of 20.9 MB (compressed into 5 files with 26.90 MB).
