Abstract:
Snowfall is the major precipitation in winter in North China. The temporal-spatial dataset of snowfall in zig-zag region between farm and grass land in North China was developed based on the daily records from the 284 meteorological stations in North China. The stations are located at Beijing City, Tianjin City, Hebei Province, Shanxi Province and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The data covers the winter months from November to February in the following year from 1961/1962 to 2011/2012. The items of the dataset are: monthly mean snowfall in January, February, November and December; annually snowfall, annual snowfall in light snow, middle snow and heavy snow. The analysis of the dataset has been published in the Journal of Acta Geographica Sinica, No. 9, Vo.70, 2015. The data is archived in .xlsx format in 394KB.
