Abstract:

Lake Qinghai is located in the northeastern of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is surrounded by mountains, is the largest inland saltwater on the plateau. The bird island is a famous Scene Spot in Lake Qinghai. In March, 1992, the Lake Qinghai was approved the accession to the International Important Wetland Convention by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and was listed as an international important wetland. In 2005, Lake Qinghai was named the top five of China's most beautiful lakes in the "The Most beautiful place in China" organized by the National Geographic magazine and the 34 medias in China. The tour of Qinghai Lake International Road cycling Race is an international competitive sports in Qinghai province as special plateau geographical resources. From July to August, the race was held on the lakeside rape season in Qinghai, which is the highest international bicycle race. 29 stamps were collected on the tour of Qinghai Lake International Road cycling Race, including commemorative stamps, postcards, limit films, first day seals and commemorative seals. 16 stamps, postcards and limit films were collected on Qinghai Lake and the bird island. All the collections were from personal contributions and archived to Linchao Geo-Museum. The dataset consist of 47 files, which were in .jpg data format and with the data size of 7.29 MB (compressed to 3 files with 6.81 MB).
