Abstract:

It is a typical humid rain-fed agricultural area in Yunnan province of China, and its agricultural development is significantly affected by changes in heat resources. The yearly dataset of heat resources in growing season in Yunnan Province of China (1972-2019) was developed based on daily meteorological data during 1972-2019 at 27 meteorological stations in Yunnan Province, integrated with climate tendency rate, accumulation of temperature and Spatial Interpolation Method. The growing season covers 5 months from May to September. The data result shows that all types of accumulated temperatures at different elevations in Yunnan province had a steadily increasing trend; the accumulated temperatures showed a higher warming trend in high-altitude regions than those in low-altitude regions. The dataset includes the following data in Yunnan Province from 1972 to 2019: (1) ≥0℃, ≥10℃ and ≥20℃ accumulated temperature yearly data during growing season at 27 meteorological stations; (2) average accumulated temperature and average annual temperature during growing season at different altitudes; (3) distribution of accumulated temperature change rate in growing season under different altitude regions. It is archived in.xlsx and .tif format, and consists of 47 data files with data size of 370 KB (compressed to one file with 319 KB). The analysis paper based on the dataset has been published in the Mountain Research, Vol. 41, No. 3, 2023.
