Abstract:
The Marcopeet Islands is located in the eastern of the Canada's Hudson Bay and west of the Ungava Peninsula, southeast of the Ottawa Islands, and north of the Sleeper Islands. The geo-location of the Islands is between 57°50′52″N and 57°58′08″N,79°37′40″W and 79°41′16″W. It is part of the Canada Arctic Archipelago. There are 6 small islands from northeast to westsouth in the Marcopeet Islands. The total area of the Marcopeet Islands is 3.24 km², and the coastline is 22.79 km. The Marcopeet Islands belongs to the Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut Territory, Canada. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with compressed data size of 67.1 KB.
