Abstract:
The dataset of agricultural resource and environment zoning of China was developed based on regional differentiation in agricultural production, suitability and environment characteristics, integrated with the dominant factor method. Two zoning classification system was developed based on the county level. The first-level of the system is consisted of ten regions, and the second-level of the system is consisted of 57 zones. Each area in the system was mainly named according to physical geographic location in the first level of the system, and that in the second-level of the system were combined with the geographical location and landform type. The dataset is archived in .shp data format, and consists of seven data files with 48.8 MB (compressed to one single file with 28.7 MB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at Strategic Study of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Vol. 20, No. 5, 2018.Browse
