Abstract：
In order to understand the relationship between the cultivated land transformed and the regional development in Guizhou Province of China during the last decade from 2007 to 2016, the dataset of relationship between cultivated land transformation and economic growth in Guizhou Province (2007-2016) was developed. The dataset was developed based on the Provincial Statistics Year Books from 2007 to 2016 and the decoupling index model. The data results show that the decoupling curve of cultivated land occupied by construction in Guizhou Province and economic development shows a "M" shape in general from 2007 to 2016, and the decoupling state experienced the process of fluctuation adjustment-transitional stabilization-fluctuation dynamic adjustment. The dataset is consist of: (1) Change rate of non-agricultural GDP in guizhou province from 2007 to 2016 and ( 2) Analysis data on index of decoupling of cultivated land occupied by construction and economic growth in Guizhou Province from 2007 to 2016. The dataset was archived in .xlsx data format in one file with data size of 14.2 KB. The data paper together with the discovery will be published in Journal of Global Change Data Publishing & Repository, Vol. 2, No. 4, 2018.
