Abstract：
Based on the statistics data from Statistical Yearbooks of China and EPS Global Statistical Database, the authors construct a connotation framework and index system of urbanization from the dimensions of the human living conditions, the humanities environment, and human-city relationship. The dataset include a series of data during 2010-2020: (1) the evolution trend of China's urbanization; (2) urbanization and sub-dimension scores for 30 Chinese provinces; (3) Theil index and decomposition of China's urbanization; (4) changes of contribution rate of China's urbanization differences; (5) the direct forces of spatial differentiation of China's urbanization; (6) the indirect forces of spatial differentiation of China's urbanization. The dataset is archived in .xlsx format, and consists of one data file with data size of 28 KB. The analysis paper based on the dataset will be published in coordination with Acta Geographica Sinica, Vol. 78, No. 4, 2023.
