Abstract:

Soil erosion modulus is an important index to measure soil erosion and ecosystem. The southwest region of China includes Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou provinces and Chongqing city, and it is a rich of biodiversity and ecologically fragile area in China. The 1-km raster dataset of annual soil erosion modulus in Southwestern Mountainous Region of China (2000-2015) was developed based on precipitation, soil, SRTM 30 m digital elevation data, land cover, and MOD13A3 vegetation index data from 2000 to 2015, integrated with the RUSLE model (the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation). The dataset includes: (1) boundary data of the study region; (2) annual soil erosion modulus data from 2000 to 2015. The dataset is archived in .shp and .tif data formats, and consists of 72 data files with data size of 109 MB (compressed into one single data file with 52.5 MB).Browse
