Abstract:
The Qinghai Lake Basin is an important natural geographical region in the northeastern of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. In 2019, the vegetation monitoring data from 28 sample sites in the basin were collected, including the vegetation type, height, coverage, biomass, number of plant families, genera, and species. The dataset includes: (1) general information and geo-locations of the sample sites; (2) the vegetation type structure of temperate grassland, temperate desert grassland, alpine grassland, temperate desert, mountain meadow, lowland meadow and alpine meadow; (3) the quantity statistics of the main plant families, genera and species of seven zonal vegetation; (4) statistics of vegetation biomass and available biomass in Qinghai Lake Nature Reserve, Przewalski’s gazelle active area; (5) annual comparison of plant structure and biomass of temperate steppe, temperate desert steppe, alpine steppe and temperate desert. The dataset is archived in .shp, .kmz and .xlsx data formats, and consists of 9 data files with data size of 86.6 KB (Compressed to two data files with 74.9 KB).Browse
