Iceberg calving is one of the key processes of the Antarctic mass balance, it also plays an important role in precisely monitoring the spatial changes of ice shelves. The authors used multi-source remote sensing data in early August from 2005 to 2019 to generate annual mosaic images of the Antarctic coastline and calculated the annual calving events with an area larger than 1 km² occurred between August 2005 and August 2019 by map digitization and spatial computing, and calculated their area, thickness, mass, and calving period to obtain the annual iceberg calving dataset of the Antarctic ice shelves (2005-2019). The dataset includes the distribution of annual calving events, along with the calving year, length, area, thickness, mass, calving period, and calving types. This dataset is archived in .shp format and consists of 112 data files, with a data size of 10.2 MB (compressed to one file with 3.23 MB).
