Abstract：
The Haa Alifu Atoll is located from 6。48＇26〃N to 7。6＇23〃N, 72。48＇32〃E to 73。14＇9〃E, 450km to Indian and 750km to Siri Lanka. It is most northern division of Maldives. The Haa Alifu Atoll is consisted of two natural atolls, one is the North Thiladhunmathee Atoll and the other one is the Ihawandhippolhu Atoll. 40 islands are located in the Haa Alifu Atoll, including 17 islands in North Thiladhunmathee Atoll and 23 islands in Ihawandhippolhu Atoll. They are: Baarah，Maafahi， Utheem， Mulidhoo， Muraidhoo， Thakandhoo， Ialand Hideaway，honakulhi， Alidhoo， Maarandhoo， Dhidhoo， Naridhoo， Vashafaru， Filladhoo，Kelaa in the Ihawandhippolhu Atoll and Galladhoo, Ihavandhoo, Huvahandhoo, Hoarafushi, Kudafinolhu, Ybeach House Iruveli, Maafinolhu, Medhafushi, Hathifushi, Mulhadoo, Matheerah, Gaamathikulhudhoo, Berimmadhoo, Madulu, Innafinolhu, Uligamu, Vagaaru, Thuraakunu islands in the North Thiladhunmathee Atoll. The total area of the island is 18.48km2, the biggest one is the Baarah island, its area is 2.56km2. The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The data is archived in .shp and .kmz data format with the compressed data size of 234KB.
