Abstract：

The South Huvadhoo Atoll, near the Equator, also called the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, is located from 0。11′17″N - 0。35′17″N， 72。59′15″E - 73。31′14″E, the southern part of the Maldives, its neighbor in north is the North Huvadhoo Atoll, the Fuvahmulah Atoll in south over the Equatorial Channel. 166 islands are included in theSouth Huvadhoo Atoll, including Handaidhoo, Dhoonirehaa, Isdhoo, Kalhaidhoo, Kandeddhoo, Farukoduhuttaa, Hoothodeyaa, Faresmaathodaa, Kudhukelaihuttaa, Ekelondaa, Ehehuttaa, Dhigulaabadhoo, Kadahalagalaa, Fiyoari, Kaalhehuttaa, Villigalaa, Ukurihuttaa, Vaadhoo, Bolimathaidhoo, Raabadaafehereehataa, Femunaidhoo, Meyragilla, Mainaadhoo, Faahuttaa, Dherekudhehaa, Laihaa, Rathafandhoo, Kalherehaa, Mathihuttaa, Bodehutta, Vatavarrehaa, Hadahaahuttaa, Kereddhoo, Dhonigallaa, Mudhimaahuttaa, Hiyanigilihuttaa, Aakiraahutaa, Meehunthivenehuttaa, Gaazeeraa, Fenevenehuttaa, Dhoonirehaa, Meragihuttaa, Kanandhoo, Oinigilla, Badefodiyaa, Maguddhoo, Fonahigillaa, Athihuttaa, Gan, Maaehivakaa, Maarehaa, Thelehuttaa, Maahutigallaa, Vaireyaadhoo, Kurikeymaahuttaa, Gadhdhoo, Nadellaa, Kalhehigillaa, Bodehuttaa, Faanahuttaa, Hakandhoo, Hevaahulhudhoo, Dhiyanigillaa, Fatefandhoo, Lonudhoohuttaa, Mathaidhoo, Kaafaraataa, Olhuratta, Lonudhoo, Kalhehuttaa, Mariyankoyya Rataa, Maaveddhoo, Veraavillingillaa, Keyhuvadhoo, Golhaallaa, Ralheodagallaa, Menthandhoo, Olhimuntaa, Farehulhudhoo, Kalhehutta, Reddhahuttaa, Kodaanahuttaa, Dhoonirehaa, Kaashidhoo, Maavaarulaa, Keyhuvadhoo, Gehevalegalaa, Kodegalaa, Olhimuntaa, Kalhefalaa, Thinehutta, Fereythavilingillaa, Boderehaa, Keraminthaa, Ulhegallaa, Kudhelifadhoo, Kautihulhudhoo, Lifadhoo, Hulheddhoo, Kadevaarehaa, Kanigilla, Dhinmanaa, Haadhoo, Kudhehulheddhoo, Madaveli, Mallaarehaa, Maagodirehaa, Havodigalaa, Kaafenaa, Havoddaa, Gehemaagalaa, Maaheraa, Maadhoo, Kudhe-ehivakaa, Kuramataa, Mathikera-nanahththaa, Hoandedhdhoo, Hunigondirehaa, Kodedhoo, Kaadeddhoo, Rahadhoo, Kudheratta, Thinadhoo and Rodhevarrehaa Islands. The biggest island in the South Huvadhoo Atoll is the Gan Island with the area of 2.43km2. The total area of the islands in the South Huvadhoo Atoll is 21.83km2，the total coastlines of the islands is 229.72 km long. The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The data is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 770KB.
