Abstract：
The Vaavu Atoll is located from 3°13'20"N to 3°40'53" N and from 73°21'50"E to 73°45'35"E, the mideast administrative atoll of Maldives. It is composed of two natural atolls: Felidhu Atoll and Vattaru Atoll. Its neighbors are the Kaafu Atoll in north, the Meemu Atoll in south. 40 islands are included in the Vaavu Atoll, including the Rakeedhoo, Thunduhuraa, Bodumohoraa, Anbaraa, Foiytheyobodufushi, Keyodhoo, Felidhoo, Thinadhoo, Hulhidhoo, Aarah, Alimatha, Dhiggiri, Fulidhoo, Vattaru etc. The biggest island in the Vaavu Atoll is the Felidhoo Island with the area of 0.16km2. The total area of the islands in the Vaavu Atoll is 1.18km2, coastline is 32.14km. The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The data is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 95.3KB.
