Abstract：

The Sentinel-2 Canopy Chlorophyll Content (CCC) Validation Dataset of Winter Wheat in Yucheng, Shandong of China was developed based on the 107 points (LAI and SPAD field survey: May 9-16, 2020) to points (Sentinel-2 CCC: 20200429, 20200519) validation between the CCCSentinal (10m) and CCCField (using SPAD x LAI as a proxy) in Yucheng, Shandong Province of China. The correlation analysis with five models showed that Coefficient of Determination (R²) ranged from 0.9152 to 0.9452, suggesting up to 94.52% of the CCCField variation in the field can be determined by CCCSentinal during late April and early Mayin this region. The dataset includes: (1) CCC point data: LAI and SPAD data from field observations; and CCCSentinal data from CCC image (first extracted, and then interpolated to corresponding observation date point by point); (2) CCC image, retrieved using Sentinel-2 L2A data and SNAP Biophysical-Processor, with 10 m resolution. The dataset is archived in .shp, .kmz, .tif and .xlsx data formats, and consists of 18 data files with data size of 215 MB (compressed into three files with 160 MB).Browse
