Abstract:
The Amur River Basin is consisted of a series of mountains and plait, the most highest mountain is the Mt. Hentiyn at 2473m. Based on the statistical noise removal to the ASTER-DEM, 8 elevation clusters are identified. They are: <50m, 50-100m, 100-200m, 200-500m, 500-1000m, 1000-1500m, 1500-2000m, and >2000m. The most largest area in the Amur River Basin is located at the 500-1000m with the total area of 803,402.10km2, 38.58% of the total area of the Basin;the area covering 200-500m above sea level is 605,881.74km2, 29.10% of total area of the Basin. The area which is higher than 2000m is only covering 939.81km2, 0.05% of the total area of the Basin. The Elevation Cluster Dataset Covering the Amur River Basin is archived in the .tif format with the compressed data size of 64.8MB。
