Abstract：
By integrating method of the monthly average global mid-troposphere CO2 data retrieved by AIRS (atmospheric infrared sounder) during 2003-2015 and the ground-based stations observations, the Global Mid-tropospheric CO2 concentration dataset (2003-2015) was developed. The dataset is consisted of: (1) spatial distribution of global mean mid-troposphere CO2 concentration during 2003-2015 in 2° x 2.5° grid in .tif format and table in .xlsx data format; (2) mean growth rate data of global mid-troposphere CO2 concentration from 2003-2015 in 2° x 2.5° grid in .tif format and table in .xlsx data format; (3) Comparison between ground-based observations and AIRS inversion results from January 2003 to December 2015 in .xlsx data format. The dataset indicated that there was a high CO2 concentration zone between 30°N to 60°N over the northern hemisphere, with low concentration center over low latitude area from 15°S to 15°N, 140°W eastward to 100°E. Global mid-troposphere CO2 concentration growth rate from 2003 to 2015 is 1.926 ppmv/a. The dataset is consists of 5 data files with data size of 292 KB (Compressed to one single file with data size of 246 KB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at the Chinese Journal of Geophysics, Vol.61, No.11, 2018.
