Abstract:

The dynamic evolution dataset of carbon emissions from grain production in China was developed based on China Rural Statistical Yearbook (1998-2021). The dataset includes the following data: (1) total carbon emissions and growth rate of grain production in China and regions from 1997 to 2020; (2) total carbon emissions and growth rate of grain production in China’s provinces from 1997 to 2020; (3) evolution trend and contribution rate of overall, intra- and inter-regional differences in carbon emissions from China’s food production; (4) carbon emission transfer path of China’s grain production from 1997 to 2020; (5) kernel density of grain production carbon emissions from 1997 to 2020. The dataset is archived in .xlsx data format, and consists of one data file with data size of 127 KB. The analysis paper based on the dataset will be published in Acta Geographica Sinica, Vol.78, 2023.
